Recycling saves energy, conserves resources, cuts greenhouse gas emissions and reduces the amount going to landfill. Paddington Farm’s Scrap Store recycling project collects unwanted metal items. Some of the metal we collect is repurposed, some is used by our resident blacksmith,Sam Smith, and the rest is sold to metal recycling companies, providing vital income to support our work. We can take washing machines, dishwashers, microwaves, power tools, gardening tools, bicycles, saucepans etc. We can't take fridges, freezers, batteries, televisions, gas bottles, computers or cars. Our Scrap Store Team collect unwanted metal items every Wednesday - for more information, or if you would like to book a collection, please contact us.
