Paddington Farm is a 43 acre organic farm situated at the foot of the famous Glastonbury Tor in Somerset. We provide
comfortable accommodation for groups, families and individuals. We provide some free rural educational activities to enhance the farm experience and to promote environmental responsibility. Spring News
Blackberry gave birth to four lambs yesterday, doubling our flock to 8 sheep. We have also increased our goat herd with 2 kids born last month. In spite of the continual rain, work on the outdoor classroom and the redesigning vegetable garden continued. These projects will be completed by the summer. This spring we also took back our land to mange ourselves and try our hand at haymaking. Our neighbours Mr and Mrs Tucker are grazing their herd of cows to keep the grass properly manged and are giving us valuable advice. Preparations for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations are underway. Glastonbury Town is holding a series of events including a huge street party on the Sunday and a torchlight procession to the Tor to light the beacon on the Monday. We do still have some available accomodation for that Bank Holiday weekend if you would like to join us. This summer, due to popular demand, we will be extending the yurt camping season from April – September with very reasonable mid week rates.
