Paddington Farm is a 43 acre organic farm situated at the foot of the famous Glastonbury Tor in Somerset. We provide
comfortable accommodation for groups, families and individuals. We provide some free rural educational activities to enhance the farm experience and to promote environmental responsibility. Due to the unexpected warm weather we have been able to continue working on the outdoor classroom, which started out looking like a leaf but is now forming into a building that would not look out of place in Vietnam and complements the woodland. By spring we will be able to begin educational workshops and training in the woodland. Three weeks ago 12 piglets were born and we introduce, Gloria, Pinky, Perky, Butterfly, Stumpy, Porky, Inky, Kinky, Cassius, Hugh, Shirley and Cheops. Next summer due to popular demand, we will be extending the yurt camping season from April – September with very reasonable mid week rates. We have begun redesigning the vegetable garden that we use for teaching to make it more efficient, accessible and easy to maintain. The new garden should be ready by the spring.
